PHILIP FORD, PA
I grew up in Northern California and started my career working in a saw mill. My father retired from a Pulp mill and I wanted to do something similar. I quickly decided I wanted an education and joined the Air Force. I made a career as a Laboratory Technician and Physician Assistant. I received my Physician Assistant training in the Air Force and a degree from the University of Nebraska in 1992. I later went on to get my Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant, Family Medicine Studies. I finished my Air Force career at McClellan Air Force Base. I worked part time in Pediatrics and worked for 8 years at a Kaiser Emergency Overflow Unit until the unit closed and was folded into the Emergency Department. I have lived in the Antelope area of Sacramento for over 20 years. I started with Allmed Medical Corporation in 2011. I am married to Emma and have 3 adult children. I have one grandson. I enjoy hunting and camping. My daughter and son-in-law have introduced me to Frisbee golf. I am still learning the sport and having fun.
